Jubung is special snack (jajanan) from Gresik that again, looks like Jenang / dodol, made from the black sticky rice and sprinkled with sesame. Jubung commonly wrapped with brownish-white wrap which create from dried leaves which woven into mini glassy.

The process of making Jubung itself takes at least a day or 24 hours starting from grinding, soak the sticky rice, cooking, until wrapping it. The longest process is cooking the dough. And to get the best Jubung, it needs 6 hours cooking until the dough is really thick. So do not surprised if the chefs are men. It because the Jubug dough must stir continuously and need powerful energy.
