It resides in Ngliman Village and belongs to Sawahan Sub-District.

The Nuance
The distance is not quite far from the downtown. Even though tourists must pass through a difficult route and landscape in order to reach the site, they won’t regret visiting the area. The waterfall is located on the slope of Wilis Mountain and it resides on the height of 1438 meters above the sea level. In terms of size, the waterfall has a height of about 105 meters! Not to mention the water discharge is quite strong! No wonder, the appearance is majestic and it creates a loud sound. It is true the waterfall also features a natural pond, but tourists are not recommended to stand directly under Sedudo due to the dangerous water discharge.

Exploring Sedudo Waterfall
All tourists are likely to get astonished once they arrive at the location. It is because both the size and appearance of Sedudo Waterfall are quite amazing. The water goes down directly from the tall cliff and it won’t stop at all regardless of the season. Aside from the strong water discharge, the waterfall also comes with cold water. This explains why many people can’t stand too long when bathing or playing in the water. Instead, it is recommended to conduct other activities like photography, sightseeing, and relaxation.

Sightseeing and photography become two prime activities to do in Sedudo Waterfall. What about an exploration? The route and landscape are not suitable to do so. That means it would be difficult to get around the site and it may take much stamina. Instead, tourists should choose the right time to visit the waterfall. It is because the locals often conduct a traditional art performance called Siraman in that area. This is part of Bersih Desa Ritual, actually.

What is next? Sedudo Waterfall also becomes a popular vacation spot these days due to the legend or local belief. It is said those who take a bath in the natural pond would be able to prolong their youth. Another myth says that people who perform a hermitage in that area would be able to obtain prosperity and good lucks! Not all people believe in these rural legends, though.
