Kabupaten Kediri
Kabupaten Kediri berbatasan langsung dengan Kabupaten Jombang di utara, Kabupaten Malang di timur, Kabupaten Blitar dan Kabupaten Tulungagung di selatan, Kabupaten Madiun dan Kabupaten Ponorogo di barat, serta Kabupaten Nganjuk di barat dan utara.
Dengan luas wilayah 963,21 Km2, Kabupaten Kediri yang beribukotakan Kediri ini siap untuk pemindahan wilayah ibukota dari Kediri ke Kecamatan Pare.
Kediri merupakan salah satu wilayah penting dalam sejarah Indonesia, karena termasuk dalam satu wilayah kerajaan di masa lampau yaitu, Kerajaan Kediri. Dengan Raja Jayabaya sebagai Raja pada masanya, Kerajaan Kediri telah mengibarkan bendera kekuasaannya sampai ke Ternate, dengan bukti ditemukannya situs Tondowongsi pada tahun 2007.
Dengan adanya kerajaan Kediri di masa lampau, maka terdapat pula beberapa peninggalan yang masih bisa ditemukan sebagai salah satu obyek wisata Kediri seperti, candi Tegowangi dan petilasan Sri Aji Jayabaya. Obyek wisata lainnya juga tentu ada dan banyak dikunjungi oleh para wisatawan lokal ataupun luar negeri, Gunung Kelud, Puh Sarang dan Ubalan.
