Romusha Cave


Situated in Jatirejo hamlet, Mojoduwur Village, Ngetos District. The fortress also called Romusha Fort was built on 1943 when Japan seized the territory of Nganjuk and headquarters centered in the area Ngetos. This fort serves as a protective bunker Japanese army from allied attack. According to some sources the freedom fighter, the late President of the Republic Indonesia Soeharto had been detained in this cave.
