UJUNG DANCE

This traditional dance is a combination of art and sport, it is performed by Tenggerese to celebrate the wedding and circumsition ceremonies of Tenggerese villagers and the ritual ceremonies of Hinduism. This attraction is show one’s invulnerability of rattan hit which causes no injury, it is performed by two persons face to face and accompanied by a Tenggerese traditional music.

This attraction is commonly held once a year and followed by the society around Pasuruan regency. This attraction looks so terrible when it has hit his back. We will not find the same attraction in other area except Pasuruan. So that, visit Pasuruan and show this unique traditional attraction.
