Lanjang
Tanian Lanjang is traditional house of Situbondo regency.
Physically, Tanian Lanjang is houses regency of a
big family that has a wide courtyard. According to
the myth, this is aimed to educate and increase tolerance
feeling for who are live there in an interaction of
each other.
You can find this traditional house, especially in
east area that is Asembagus (about 28 km from the
center of the city to east direction), Kapongan (15
km of the center of city) and Mangaran (10 km to north
from the center of city).
Tanian Lanjang traditional house has its unique architecture.
This house represents itself in its style of sociality
life. Made of teak wood and decorated with wooden
carving and some interior.
