Candi Simbata

Candi Simbata adalah sebuah candi yang terdapat arca Dewi Sri di dalamnya, dan terletak di desa Simbatan, sekitar 17 Km ke arah timur dari kota Magetan.
Arca Dewi Sri ini merupakan arca yang 'dihormati', dimana setiap hari Jumat Pahing, dalam penanggalan Jawa, di bulan Muharram selalu diikutsertakan dalam ritual bersih desa. Dan kegiatan itu sudah berlangsung sejak tahun 1813.
Ada sesuatu yang menarik tentang arca Dewi Sri ini, dimana sejak tahun 1933 sampai tahun 1942 pada dada arca tersebut keluar sumber air yang bersih. Dan sejak saat itu, sumber air tersebut dimanfaatkan oleh banyak orang untuk diambil sebagai pengobatan segala macam penyakit.
