Trenggalek is a sub-province in Provinsi Jawa Timur, Indonesia. its Capital City is Kota Trenggalek. This sub-province occupy region with a width of 1205,22 kms² what dwelt by ± 700000 men.
is Trenggalek one of the sub-province in south coast coastal area, abut on Kabupaten Ponorogo northside, Sub-Province Pacitan westside, Sub-Province Tulungagung eastside and south coast.Trenggalek have many resorts and place of wisata having beauty of which original still have not changed by situation of era, for example goa, coast, and mountain which asri.
Famous cave ” Cave Lowo” it is said famous many its bats in the cave, do not far from this cave ( more or less 6 kms) there is Pantai Prigi which beautiful. More or less 2 kms there are white sands with the white sand is cleanness. Either at elbow coast prigi and also white sands many place of lodgings.
Sub-Province Trenggalek consisted of 14 districts that is: Barrage, Dongko, Durenan, Gandusari, Kampak, Composition, Heaped, Flank, Pogalan, Pule, Ordered, Trenggalek, Tugu, Watulimo.

up to January 2000, Botanic Garden Purwodadi own?have 14534 crop specimens included in 3770 types, 988 generas and 150 tribes.
This is plant collection result of exploration from various areas in Indonesia,
result of transfer with nations Iain, contribution of person, and or from other institution.
collection of Orchid :
It is placed in glasshouse which its condition adapted for aiami habitat it.
There is around 620 types being consisted of 496 nature orchid types and 124 orchid types traversed. Around 7 is types is endemic orchid is East Java like. Appendicula imbricata, Dendrobium arcuatum, Pophiopedilum glaucophyllurn ( orchid selop), and others which is threatened the existence in nature for example Ascocentrum miniuatum, Phalaenopsis amabilis
( orchid month), PhaIaenopsis fimbriata, and others.
Collection of Bamboo :
Around 30 bamboo types have been collected rich Kebun punwodadi, 16 types come Javanese, 2 types from my Malu, 9 Sulawesian types, and 10 types from some Asian states ( Chinese, Japan, Thailand, India, and Birma). Other types sepenti Gigantochloa manggong ( endemic is East Java) obtained from Menu National Park Betiri, Gigantochloa apus ( pring apus) for furniture, crafting or house roof, Dendrocalamus asper ( pring petung) its rebung to be eaten, and Schizostachyum blumii ( pring wuluh) for flute.
Collection of Mango :
There is 4 collection types of mango in Botanic Garden Punwodadi that is Mangifera indica, M. foetida, M. odorata is coming
Javanese, and M. minor and Sumbawa. It is consisted of 37 cultivars like mango endog, crispy rnangga, rnangga combineed, mango kopyor, mango putihan, and others.
Collection nailed :
This collection is arranged under few leaves only and big trees, because this plant require few leaves only place and damp. Its collection reaching 103 types, 43 generas and 20 tribes between of Paku nestle ( Aspleniurn nidus), Suplir ( Adiantum trapeziforme) and Paku hata ( Lygodium circinaturn). There are some plant benefit nailed, between of sebagal vegetable ( Athyrium esculentum), ornamental plant ( Asplenium sp, Adiantum sp.), drug ( Equisetum debile), orchid media ( Cyathea contaminans) and diligence] material ( Lygodium circinatum).
Collection of Banana :
There is 5 collection types of banana in Botanic Garden Purwodadi that is Mozes acuminata, M. balbisiana ( wild type standing sebagal cultivar banana cross mains), M. troglodytarum, M. orrnata ( Have fruit bunch which upward) and M. paradiksiaca which is is cultivar banana
It is noted by there are 148 cultivar bananas residing in XXIV A, B, D and E. One of pride cultivar banana of Botanic Garden Purwodadi adalab Pisang Kates, is result of cross from M, acuminata and M. balbisiana, own? have 3 - 5 its comb pears and measure bigger than banana gajih.
Collection of Drug Crop :
Located In XIV G, and arranged in such a way so functioning as interesting garden to be enjoyed. Collection of mencapal 158 types, 139 generas, 65 tribes, between of Pace ( Morinda citrifolia), its fruit for cough medicine, Purple leaf ( Graptophyllum pictum), its leaf for drug ambeien, Widoro upas ( Merremia mammosa), its corm for diabetes drug and Sembung ( Blumea balsamifera) its leaf for asthma drug and heart pain.
collection of Palm :
There is 80 palm types being dirniliki by Botanic Garden Purwodadi. Palm type many exploited for ornamental plant, between of Palem Raja ( Roystonea alata), Jambe turned yellow ( Areca cathecu) and black Palem ( Normanbya normanbyi). Other benefit is as source of carbohydrate ( Metroxylon sago), source of sugar ( Arenga pinnata), oilfield fried ( Elaeis guineensis). material weaved ( Calamus sp.).
HERBARIUM AND SEED COLLECTION
Up to januari 2000, herbarium which have been collected 199 tribes,
669 generas, 1016 types, and 3531 sheet,
collection of Herbarium is kept in separate space and can be exploited
