In order to develop and improve Prigi beach, Karanggongso, Damas, Pelang LeacL and Guwo Lowo (Bat cave) it is hoped that Foreign Investment, Domestic Investment, State Owned Corporations, Region Owned Corporations or Private Companies are willing to invest its capital in this sector since it has great potencial but hasn’t been developed because of finance, skill, special skill, limitedness in tourism field.
The location :
Prigi Beach, Karanggongso, Damas are in Watulimo subdistricts ± 42 km from Trenggalek capital.
Pelang Beach is in Panggul subdistrict ± 52 km from Trenggalek capital.
Guwo Lowo is in Watulimo subdistrict ± 26 km from Trenggalek Regency capital.
Besides the beautiful view they have facilities and infrastructure available as follows :
Transportation facilities (road / bridge).
Hotel, Restaurant, Souvenir, Tennis court, Meeting room, Speedboat location, Sentry post, and Other facilities (water, telephone, electricity).
Facilities that Pelang beach has : Sentry post and Asphalted road.
Tourism spot management is done by the Second Level Regency of Trenggalek’s government cooperating with Sejahtera Government employee’s Cooperative Economic Enterprise (KUD) and private entrepreneurs who deal with hotels and tourism.
Trenggalek’s livestock population general is still in the development phase : i.g. : pig, milk cow, meat producer cow, pure bred poultry A, buffalo, sheep / goat.

GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION
Trenggalek is located in the South coast area of East Java, between 111 24′ and 112 11′ east longitude and between 7 53′ and 8 34′ South latitude. In the north it is bordered on the district of Tulungagung, the West on the district of Ponorogo, the South on Indonesian Ocean. Two the third of its area consist of mountainous land area and the rest is the basin area.
The total width of this region is 126.140 Ha in which 48 % is the forest area and the rest consists of farm land, dry land, housing area etc. There are 4 assistants to regent/ district, 13 subdistricts, 157 villages, 509 small villages and 4,107 small district society.
In 1993 the number of the population was 639.000 persons, by the population density of 506/km2 and its population number increase was 0.53 %.

Tanjung Kodok
65 km from Surabaya.
Though Tanjung kodok is located in the Lamongan region, it is easier to get there from Gresik along Daendels road. Tanjung Kodok gained international renown as the focus of international research during the total solar eclipse on June 11, 1983. It is a peaceful seaside resort, and also a resting place for pilgrims to the tombs of two Moslem saints, Sunan Drajad and Sunan Sendang Duwur. The place derives its name, Tanjung Kodok, from a stone formation which resembles a frog (”kodok”).
TOURISM AND CRAFT
For Lamongan, the tourism development objective in the second Long Term Development is achieving a good reptation on tourism sector which is hoped to open new working/job opportunity, field of business as many as possible.
Whereas the tourist arrival development in relation to the tourism objects up to March 1995 are noted as follows:
Tanjung Kodok 166,276 persons
Gua Maharani 319,844 persons
Sunan Drajat Grave 92,628 persons
Waduk Gondang 34,472 persons
Total 613,220 persons
In the mean time the total retribution on tourism sector contributes Rp 270,713,300.00 by the end of March 1995.
Besides of the tourism potential mentioned above, in Lamongan, there are many kinds of conspicuous craft industry, such as traditional textile (tenun ikat) which is made by using non machine weaving-loom, Batik Tulis, screw pine leaf and bamboo plaiting, gold and silver works, ceramics. In 1993/1994 there was noted 28,351 business units of industrial sector by the total investment of Rp 5,460,987,000.00 and it increases in 1994/1995 by the total investment of Rp 5,505,543,000.00.

As one of the second level regions of East Java Province, Lamongan district area covers 1,812. km2. Geographically Lamongan is located between 6′ 51′54″ - 7′23′ 6″ south latitude and 112 4′ 4″ - 112 33′12″ east longitude as it is bordered on:
- the north: Java Sea
- the east : The District of Gresik
- the south: The Districts of Mojokerto and Jombang
- the west : The Districts of Tuban and Bojonegoro.
The region is separated by the river of Bengawan Solo into two parts by its total length about 65 km. So the condition of the land surface areas are varied according to its levels, where it is more than a half of the region (50.17 %) occupies the area of 0 - 25 m above the sea level and the rest of it occupies 25 - 100 m (45.68 m) and 100 m above (4.15 %).
The land area of this region can be classified according to its characteristics such as follows:
The middle south part which is considered as relatively a fertile area,
The south and north part which occupy mountainous and rocky areas and considerably have medium to low fertility level.
The middle north area, which covers the flood-stricken and swamp areas.
The land utility of this region covers agricultural farming land area 806.09 km2 (44.63 %), 328.04 km2 (18.10 %) dry field area, 318.4 km2 (17.57 %) forest area, 142 km2 (7.84 %) housing and its facilities area, and for other interests which cover 214.99 km2 (11.86 %).
