P.T. Multiplast Indo Makmur was officially established in 1990. It started as a plastic housewares wholesaler since 1965. With a long experience of this field, the founder started to realize the large oppurtunities of manufacturing plastics housewares by himself.

From 1985, he started to subcontract certain products with its own moulds and brand to local manufacturers. In the early 1990, the owner started to build a plant. Since then, in order to anticipate the growth, the company acquired new machines and build new buildings.

In 1992, hoping to reap a greater oppurunities in the global competition, it strated to export its products to Middle Eastern countries and the United Kingdom.

In 1993, as the markets expanded, the company started to develop its market world wide, such as Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, USA and Europe.

Currently, the company employs 650 staffs in manufacturing including the management levels in the plants. Marketing is one of the company's strengths, backed with experienced sales persons. The company maintains more than 1,500 customers all over Indonesia.

As the company develops, however, it intends to fully utilize considerable marketing skills and extends its area of activity for Indonesia regions and abroad. The company also joins international exhibitions such as Tendence, Ambiente in Germany, Hongkong Gifts, House ware fair and Pameran Produksi Export (PPE) Jakarta. Strong ties with buyers is its main concern to keep them coming back.

With a promising future of plastic housewares, it is striving to be the best or equal to its long time competitors. P.T. Multiplast Indo Makmur is known for its products which keep innovating new designs. Right now, the company is producing about 300 kinds of products and the majority products lines are House Ware, Bathroom Amenities and Furniture Ware & Plastic storage.
