Pasuruan
is one of tourism object in East Java that has glamour nature and
marvelous culture, such as panorama of mount Bromo seen from Penanjakan,
or the fascinating of Tretes tourism area,
the amazing of agro tourism area in Tutur, recreation area at Prigen,
which presenting
multifarious animals in Safari Park Indonesia II, the center of
recreation and
entertainment amusement of Taman Dayu, Fina Golf and there are
still a lot of tourism object which is interesting to be visited.
JAWI
TEMPLE
Its is thirteenth century temple influenced by
Buddha and Hindu religions. The body of the statue is Hindu, yet
the top is Buddhist. As written on the prose of Negara Kertagama,
King Hayam Wuruk visited the temple and called it Jajawi which means
Jawa. Today it is called Jawi.
KAKEK
BODO WATERFALL
This beautiful panorama is a fine example of
East Java's forest and waterfall. Reachable by public transportations,
the fall is located 40 km south of Surabaya at Tretes tourist resort.
Bungalows, hotels restaurant with fresh atmosphere and horseback
are available for visitors.
PURWODADI
BOTANICAL GARDEN
This conservation center of rare flora is a branch
of the Bogor botanical Garden. The 80 sq km garden was built in
1941 and is located near Malang-Surabaya main road.
MT.
BROMO
Mount Bromo scenery is primary tourist attractions
in East Java that can seen from the top of Mount Penanjakan that
has altitude 2774 meters above sea level and it is the highest top
Tengger Mountain range. The visitors can see beautiful sunrise,
sand sea and the scenery of Mount Bromo.
SAFARI
INDONESIA II PARK
As the natural wild life, preserve Taman Safari
Indonesia collects various wild animals. This wildlife preserve
is 295 hectares, the wild animal such as : lion tiger, wild buffalo,
komodo, rhinaceros, bison that live in open area. Lies at the slope
of Mt. Arjuno 800 – 1.500-meter sea level cover 340 ha and
divided three zones. Wild life zone, place for visitor observing
a natural wild life. Attraction zone is for performing education
through entertainment attractions.
COBAN
BAUNG WATERFALL
The waterfall is 100 meters high as one of natural
attractions. It is located at Purwodadi village exactly in the east
of Purwodadi Botanical garden. It has surrounded by a protected
forest with various animals like monkey, deer, etc. It has provided
camping ground.
FINNA
GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB
The area is a development of Prigen resort. It
takes about 45 minutes drive from Surabaya to get this place. The
golf course with 18 holes designed by Thompson Wolveride and Perret
has completed with many facilities such as cottages, restaurant,
convention hall and swimming pool. It is a convenient place for
both recreation and sport activity with the cool air all the year.

TAMAN DAYU CLUB
Taman Dayu is a place for relax and resort located
at Pandaan, it is accessible for about 40 minutes drive from Surabaya.
Taman Dayu has a golf course with 18 holes designed by Jack Nicklaus,
children play ground, splash water park, bar and cottages. Taman
Dayu is combination of sport activity and place for relax.
APPLE
AGRO TOURISM
The agro tourism is located at Andonosari village,
Tutur subdistrict. It's about 40 km from Pasuruan city. The visitor
can be relax and go around the Apple plantation.
If we want to pick some Apples by ourselves and eat them as many
as we want, we have to pay a admission fee at first. The agro tourism
covers an area about 1100 hectares and the apples which are planted
consist of Manalagi, Rhomebeauty, Anna and Wanle.
SIEN
ORCHID
Sien Orchid Garden collects many kinds of orchids
and decorative plants, which is located on the way between Pandaan
– Tretes. The visitor can see the beauty of orchids and buy
them as souvenirs. In this garden is cultivated many kinds of orchid,
which are preserved and for collection.
BANYU
BIRU
Banyu Biru natural swimming pool has situated
at Sumberejo village, Winongan sub district. Formerly this swimming
pool has called Telaga Wilis. On Friday many visitor go there and
take a bath because according to the legend whoever takes a bath
in this swimming pool will stay young.
LAKE
GRATI
The lake has mount Tengger’s beautiful
scenery. It has available recreational facilities such as boats
and floating fishing net pond (keramba apung) used for breeding
fresh water fish such as gurami, mujair, nila merah, etc. Ranu lake
produces lempuk fish (a kind of small anchovy), which only can be
found in this place.
BELAHAN
TEMPLE
The building is unique and interesting because
the temple has completed with swimming pool. The temple has superiority
in historical aspects namely: the uniqueness and mysticism. According
to the society belief, whoever takes a bath in this swimming pool
will restore young.
GANGSIR
TEMPLE
The temple is unique and interesting because
the material of this temple was made of brick that’s well
arranged.
Formerly, this temple was known as “Keboncandi” temple,
on account of the location of the temple is in Gunung Gangsir village,
so the local society call it Gunung Gangsir Temple.
SKY
LOT
Ski Lot is an unique attraction because the competitor
must catch a crab, a lele fish and an eel by surf on the mud. Not
only men, but also women follow the competition. There are still
many other traditional ceremony in Pasuruan, such as Bull race,
Ujung dance, Terbang Rudat dance, etc.
